6 Months!

I am very smiley, especially when you are playing with me. My favorite toy is a giraffe that plays music. I like having it to fall asleep with. Mommy caught me hugging it one morning.  I do not like having a wet diaper, even just a drop makes me fussy. I am also really liking the baby food thing. My favorite is anything that is sweet, but squash is okay too. Peas are definitely not the best. Yuck! I love watching and being with people. There is just so much in this world to see! For that reason I do not like taking naps on anyone's shoulder and I even have a hard time falling asleep when others are around. That means that I am pretty tired and I cry a lot during church because it's during nap time. My brother and sister are very helpful when I need anything; I love them.

At my appointment on Friday, February 25th I:
weighed 14.4 lbs
was 25 inches long
 had a 16 1/2 in head circumference.

Wow! I am growing so fast!

Check out my beautiful curls!!!
Are we done yet?

Yes, it has been six months! For some reason this time seems to be going slower. Maybe it is because she was so much smaller than Ember and Lincoln. I love it! I love having a little baby. It feels like they stay little longer. She is so much fun. Love you sweet girl!

Raspberries & Raspberries!

Well, Nikh is my child that has really blown raspberries. It is so fun to hear and watch her blow them!

Also, Branden went and bought some raspberry bushes to plant in the backyard so that we can pick our own. The kids had fun digging and planting their bushes. Of course, Linc got bored and "tired" of digging after approximately 2 minutes and decided he needed a rest on the stairs! Since it had snowed a couple of days before, we still had a little snow. He ended up having a snowball fight with the wall! It definitely was not boring!

Valentine's Surprises

Happy late Valentine's Day to all! I hope that yours was as wonderful as mine. Branden and I celebrated on Saturday since he had to work on Monday. It was nice. At this baby shower that I went to earlier that day there were chocolate covered strawberries. Yum! However, if didn't know from earlier posts, Nikh is allergic to both dairy and soy. So my diet is quite limited; no chocolate for me.
Anyway, Branden went to the store and bought a small candle lit fondue maker on Friday. Then stayed up 'till 4 am making evaporated coconut milk so that he could mix it with vegan chocolate chips in order to make dip for the fondue.  We stayed up after the kids went to bed and had some chocolate covered strawberries by candlelight.
Branden did buy me a gift, but it came on Monday. But when I asked him about it he said it hadn't come. Later that evening when I was putting away the dishes I found my gift with a surprise note! I LOVE the Vampire Diaries series and so he bought me season 1. I am sooooo excited to watch all the extras and the episodes...again.
Thanks Sweetheart for a wonderful Valentine's Day! I love you so much.

Newest Creations

I went to a baby shower last Saturday. One of the gifts that I remember from my baby shower with Ember was a "diaper cake." I thought it was so cool. So as my gift I wanted to try and recreate this diaper cake. I was surprised at how cute it turned out! Yes, now I can add this to my list of things I can create.

Practicing My Sitting

Nikh has been getting lots of practice sitting lately with her Bumbo seat. (Thanks again Bobbi). It is so fun to watch her sit there and play with her toys. On this particular day, Lincoln came over while I was taking pictures and said that he wanted to have "take his picture with his sister." It was so cute. He really loves her a lot. His newest nickname for her is Nikh-pooey-pooh! I have no idea where he got that one, but he always has been one to get different names for his family. When he was younger he couldn't say Ember's name so he made up the name Gigi for her. Hmmm...interesting.

Look at my ducky Mommy!

Rolled Over!

I am way behind on my blogging. Especially now that I am taking this history class and have homework again. Yikes! Back on January 13th Nikh rolled over from her back to her tummy for the first time. I was so excited because it seemed like she had been working on it for so long. Of course I had to capture the victorious moment.

Almost There!

And like her name states: The Goddess of Victory! Yay!

Big Spender

Well, I actually forgot to write about this a couple of weeks ago when it actually happened. But maybe my subconscious decided it would be better to wait. One Saturday not so long ago Lincoln began playing with his daddy's ipod touch. There are several games on it that he has fun playing. Anyway, everything was fine until Sunday morning when Branden was checking some stuff on it. He began finding games and apps that were not there before. Long story short, on Saturday when Linc was playing with it he apparently got into the place where you can purchase new apps and ended up buying $12 worth of games AND $55 worth of "jems and "jewels" for one of them!!! Yes, we are now $67 poorer. If anyone would like to contribute even 50 cents each would appreciated! (just kidding) Needless to say, Linc is completely banned from ever playing with the ipod touch.
