Happy 5th Birthday My Sweet Pea!

I can't believe you are actually five years old! I do not feel old enough to have a five year old. But you really have been a part of our little family for five years. Where has my little baby gone? You dance and sing and are such a good big sister to both your brother and sister. I couldn't have asked for more. It is so fun to see you smile and hear you laugh. And I especially love how you just have to sing while you are going potty...even a public one :) I love you so much Sweet Pea. I hope that your birthday was wonderful and that being 5 isn't too hard.

She just HAD to wear the BK crown for the picture!

Ember turned 5 today! For her birthday we were just going to do something with the family, but she asked if she could invite her friends. So we had to quickly come up with something to do with several 4 and 5 year olds. Hmmm...Princess Party! One of her favorite movies is Tangled. It is perfect that it came out on her birthday. So we are inviting a few of her friends to come dressed as princesses and have fun playing. We are going to have Tangled on in the background while we play some princess games, eat Burger King (Ember says she "doesn't eat pizza anymore." Wow, new one to me. Guess she really is my daughter...I don't really care for pizza :)  ), and decorate cupcakes. This is the first party we have invited more than just family or really close friends. My baby is growing up. ;) Look on Saturday for the post about how the party actually went.

Pretty in Blue

I just bought this new dress for Nikh. I thought is was so beautiful. It was a little cold today, so I put on the half white sweater that matched. Love it!

I can sit all by myself!

Sometimes I get a little tired.

Wow! I am getting to be such a big girl...and not just in the chub department. My daddy sat me up today, and I decided that instead of falling over, I would use my little muscles to stay up. Yay! Daddy and I were very excited for Mommy to get home and show her my new trick. I new she was going to be so proud of my new accomplishment. Sitting by myself is so fun, I wonder why I didn't try it sooner?? Hmm...Oh well. I am well on my way to driving! Haha! Gotcha Mommy!

Disney on Ice Pictures

I just had to take pictures while we were at Disney on Ice, not just video. We all got to pick one souvenir. Lincoln picked a Buzz sword. Ember picked a Minnie Mouse spinner. Now, Branden just wanted the hat, but you couldn't get the hat all by itself. You had to buy a program, and then you would get the hat for free.  Which was fine with me because now I don't have to recreate scrapbook pages. The program is a huge book with full color pictures of the entire show. So now all I have to do is get our pictures printed and then I can put them on the program pages and Voila! Instant scrapbook! Plus, Branden then got his hat. It makes him look so sexy, I think! ;)

Disney On Ice

I have wanted to go to Disney On Ice for a few years now, but I always put it off saying we didn't have the money, or the kids weren't old enough to enjoy it. So this year, I decided, would be the year. I bought the tickets a month and a half in advance and then just counted down the days. We decided that since Nikh doesn't like the dark we would leave her with Grandma and Grandpa Fletcher while we took Ember and Lincoln. It was so much fun! Here are a few excerpts. I actually got most of the show on video, but here is only one part and some pictures. Afterward, while walking to the car I asked the kids what their favorite part of the show was. Click on the video to hear their responses. (pictures to come)
