My cutie is 9 months old today, and I feel like she is just growing too fast. I know you will say that I need to enjoy it, or how can I say that when she has so much ahead of her still, etc. but I just want her to stay little for a while longer. She is my last baby (that we plan on, though the Lord could have other plans that he has not revealed to us), and I guess when you know that you have your last, you want them to stay little longer than the others did. She is such a bundle of happiness. Everywhere she goes she brings in the sunshine...especially with the weather we have been having lately! Just having her near melts my heart. Our family would not be complete without her.
Things she is able to do:
She can say mama and dada. Though she seems to find dada easier and I don't think she knows they have meaning.
She can almost crawl. She gets up on her knees sometimes but can't quite figure out how to move her legs, or she tries and slips onto her stomach. She is very good at the army crawl.
She can hold her own bottle. Actually, she has been doing this for a while. I still find it cute.
She can finally pick up AND eat fruit puffs all on her own.
She has two teeth!
She goes to sleep all by herself! Ever since I went off dairy I just feed her then lay her in her crib and she falls asleep on her own. Wonderful!
She has a habit of pulling on her hair all the time! I keep telling her that there are many people who wish their little girls had as much as she does and that she needs to take care of it, but she doesn't listen and keeps pulling.
Last, but not least, she has outgrown her soy allergy! Yay! I cannot even express the happiness I feel that I now have a larger list of foods I can eat. Yes, I am still nursing, but only once in the morning right before I leave for work, and once right before she goes to bed. I have really enjoyed nursing all my children. It is something that they share with only me.
